- Dr. Nilesh Pandya holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, completing his doctoral studies in 2010. Over the years, he has developed a strong academic and administrative profile in the field of higher education, contributing through teaching, research, examination administration, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Dr. Pandya began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Bhagwan Mahavir College during 2011–2014, where he contributed to examination coordination and academic development activities. He later provided academic leadership as the I/C Principal of G.N. Pandya Science College, Surat from 2014 to 2017. During this tenure, he handled the entire administration of the college, ensuring effective functioning of academic, administrative, and student–related responsibilities.
- From 2017 to 2025, Dr. Pandya served as Assistant Professor at Uka Tarsadia University, where he also held multiple institutional responsibilities such as Exam Coordinator, IQAC Member & Coordinator, Training & Placement Coordinator, and Member of the Academic Development Cell. His tenure at UTU is marked by his significant contribution as Organizing Secretary and Coordinator of several national and international conferences and workshops. Through these roles, he played an important part in academic enhancement, quality assurance, and institutional outreach activities.
- In 2025, Dr. Pandya assumed the position of Controller of Examinations at Sarvajanik University. In this role, he is entrusted with the comprehensive responsibilities of examination management, including the development and implementation of examination policies, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of assessment processes, ensuring timely execution of academic evaluations, and strengthening the overall assessment framework of the University.
- Dr. Pandya has contributed to research in the field of Chemistry, having published six research papers in national and international journals. He has also authored two books / book chapters, presented or attended 25 conferences, and guided one Ph.D. scholar. His research interests primarily lie in Chemistry.
- In recognition of his academic engagement, Dr. Pandya has received several appreciations, including a Certificate of Appreciation for delivering a webinar on “Green Chemistry: Microwave Synthesis”, organized by Research Circle, Malaysia (29 April 2021). He also received a Certificate of Appreciation as Session Chair at the International Conference on Post COVID-19 Paradigm Shift in Social Science, Technology and Public Health, organized by CAPCDR (23–25 November 2022).
- Dr. Pandya has also been recognized for his innovative contributions to school and higher education. He received the Teacher Innovation Award under the Zero-Investment Innovations for Education Initiatives (ZIIEI) of the Sri Aurobindo Society, supported by HDFC Bank Parivartan. This Certificate of Appreciation, awarded on 30 September 2019, acknowledges his sustainable efforts in promoting joyful and experiential teaching practices. The recognition reflects his commitment to fostering creative learning environments and contributing to broader educational development initiatives.
- Dr. Pandya is also actively involved in scholarly publishing and academic evaluation processes. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for multiple national and international journals including the American Journal of Applied Chemistry (AJAC), Aarhat Multidisciplinary International Education Research Journal (AMIERJ), Electronic Interdisciplinary International Research Journal (EIIRJ), and Educator Research Journal (ERJ). His editorial roles reflect his contribution to advancing quality research and academic visibility.

- Dr. Pandya has been invited as a resource person for webinars, served as a session chair at international conferences, and has contributed to multiple academic events as Organizing Secretary and Coordinator during his tenure at UTU. He has also served in various university-level committees including Examination, Academic Development, IQAC, and Training & Placement committees, reflecting his multi-dimensional academic leadership.
